MARCH: WE TAKE THE GOLDEN ROAD

The title alludes to a line in James Elroy Flecker's (1884-1915) play 'Hassan', which concludes with the line 'We take the Golden Road to Samarkand' - here it alludes to a crowd of graduating students about to embark on a golden road of their own.
